How Can We Help?
About the DC CommunityAbout the DC Community
Learn about the Digital Commons community, repository options, and support resources.
Over 650 institutions worldwide choose Digital Commons to showcase their scholarship, share and preserve their archives, and expand their reach. Our global community includes Colleges & Universities, Medical Centers, State Archives, Law Schools, and Associations.
Publishing and Showcasing a Range of Content
Digital Commons customers use a variety of publishing and repository options, and often ask questions such as:
- Which structure type should I choose?
- Can I modify a structure's metadata fields?
- How do embargoes and access control work?
- How can I help a faculty member launch a new journal that uses peer review?
Digital Commons IRs have six different structure types, plus access to Digital Commons Exhibits, enabling customers to find the right fit for each kind of content.
Support and Consulting
Each Digital Commons customer works with a dedicated consultant who can answer questions and provide guidance and training. Consultants are also supported by a small team that can provide seamless coverage when needed, as well as internal expert groups that share knowledge and best practices.
Additional support is available through webinars and resource guides in this help center.
